TRIP concluded youth holiday training on reproduction health and general education.

On Friday, September 9th, 2022 concludes trainings which were being conducted by TRIP organization as a part of TWONGERE UBUMENYI project which aims at education and training children from rural areas. 116 youth and 13 adults were trained on different aspects including reproduction health and general education.

With the CEDO of Kabushinge cell among other guests in attendance, children were excited to show what they’ve learnt throughout the training period, as they participated in quizzes after interactive lectures conducted by an experienced TRIP Education Officer.

TRIP Education Officer also used digital media and visual aids in holiday training. The main purpose of using digital media is to increase understanding of youth about training topics through providing examples and lessons about topics in trainings. They also used TV to watch news around the world and sports for entertainment after trainings.

From the very beginning, the main objective of the TRIP organization is to participate in the development of rural population. One of the key activities of TRIP is to promote education in rural areas and effectively stop school dropouts which is often common in undeveloped rural communities. By providing trainings like these, TRIP is building a strong future community without ignorance, child-pregnancies, drug abuse, etc.…

Mr. Brechams Kanyamihigo, a member of TRIP board, thanked the children who participated in the program and announced that TRIP with partners and donor’s funds will provide a partial tuition scholarship for four excellent students, TRIP will continue to help youth in education at schools and trainings will continues in the next holidays.
