In a significant step towards rural development, the Terimbere Rural Integrated Partnership NGO conducted a special event through the "TWITEZIMBERE MU BWOROZI BW'INGURUBE" project. On 11th July 2023, six pigs were donated to stakeholders at TRIP's office in Busana Village, Kabushinge Cell, Rwaza Sector, Musanze District.

The event was headed by Vice President Berchmas Kanyamihigo, Audit Committee Vice President Phocas Musemakweli, and Advisors: Parisien Jean Claude and Germaine Twahirwa. The "TWITEZIMBERE MU BWOROZI BW'INGURUBE" project is an initiative of TRIP for rural communities, aims to promote pig farming as a means of generating income and providing a stable source of nutrition.

TRIP's team provided essential training and knowledge-sharing sessions on pig-rearing best practices, emphasizing proper housing, nutrition, and veterinary care. These skills will enable the stakeholders to care for the animals effectively and maximize their economic gains from pig farming.

Beyond charity, the pig donation represents an investment in the future of the stakeholders and the community. Pigs' high reproductive rate will create a sustainable source of income and contribute to the region's economic growth and stability. The "TWITEZIMBERE MU BWOROZI BW'INGURUBE" project also aligns with TRIP's commitment to sustainability and environmental consciousness, encouraging eco-friendly farming practices.

After the event, TRIP’s Representatives expressed their satisfaction and happiness with the event's outcome, believing it will have a positive effect on the stakeholders in Kabushinge Cell, Rwaza Sector.
