They formed this group as a method of developing themselves using their collective efforts. There are multiple groups like this in Rwaza sector, one of the TRIP operating areas.
Today, Urungano has a success story as their development has significantly improved since they started working with TRIP, they decided to share what they achieved, as on 15th July, 2021 they donated 4 young pigs to their neighbors who are still struggling with poverty.
In presence of local authorities, members of Urungano, and recipients, in strict rules amid the Covid-19 pandemic, Mr. Nkiranuye Gaëtan, the legal representative of the TRIP Organization, said that it is in TRIP responsibilities to help people who put their efforts together to develop themselves.
“Since 2018, when TRIP Organization was founded, it was in its objectives to help people who adopted partnership to develop themselves in Agriculture, Saving, developing education for children and providing training for them”, Mr. Nkiranuye continued.
