TRIP Representatives continued to train stakeholders about modern farming, cultivation and hygiene.
On 8th June 2022, TRIP Legal Representative Marie Jeanne UWIMBABAZI and TRIP Coordinator Catherine UWAYEZU visited 3 groups of stakeholders in KABUSHINGE Cell/ RWAZA Sector Through "TUNOZE UMWUGA PROJCECT", the TRIP Legal Representatives and Coordinator explained to the trainees the importance of saving for their future. In facts in rural areas, there are still issue of big number of people who still save their money at home which is risky. Therefore TRIP Representatives discussed with stakeholder groups the importance of saving money in saving cooperatives like SACCO and banks and how they can save there.

During this session, TRIP Legal Representative and Coordinator provided explanation to stakeholder groups about modern pig farming, including the components of good diet for pigs, how to build a good pigsty and importance of hygiene for pigs. They also explained different type of pigs, their characteristics and how farmers can take care for each type.
At the end of the presentation, the trainees got the opportunity to ask questions about the presentation and the challenges they meet with during their modern farming activities. The trainers helped them to find the solutions to their challenges.
